Seems like a lotta people bought this just to sell it!! fuck that.
Fani
decent sounds. will watch for ppl to get bored of waiting for someone to buy at inane flipper cost, and buy it when it goes down to a more reasonable price befitting of something pressed in an edition of 500. no reason anyone should pay these jacked up rates. the first few BEB releases all went down in price when people got bored of the hype and moved on- am sure this one will see similar outcome. to be clear: i think the imprint is great, but also think more people buy these releases to try and flip at stupid prices reflected here than to actually appreciate the tunes. eff off people of 2017.
Lanin
it's already down to reasonable prices. i mean the original price was 10-15 quid so $20 isn't really outrageous for a limited release. It's the price paid for not being quick to buy! happens in everything not just records...
I'm a Russian Occupant
music is great. making it a limited-pressing no-digital release was a fucking shit idea, though.
Faebei
It's now available digitally from the Raime Bandcamp page, seemingly as of 24 September 2018.raime.bandcamp.com
Shem
saw a couple copies for sale at rough trade new york today.i find it strange that this release is so divisive, when their last 12" (under the name yally) is on the same tip and didn't garner any discussion.
skriper
i think it's because the 12inch "selling out" was so publicized across douchey dance music sites; attracting Trumpian type of peels to Raime
Lavivan
that's odd because i was at rough trade thursday and they said they have NO record of that record even existing. LOL. they have the Yally 12 though...
I am hcv men
totally agree. yally on the same tip, also limited vinyl, no discussion
Throw her heart
It's really crazy how polarizing Raime have been lately. I really liked Tooth, but I think I was expecting an even better more intense follow up to their debut LP, but we got something completely different out of left field. Minimalist Post-rock and Dub, a really weird combo, but this EP feels more akin to their early releases mixed with Tooth's sound palette. Really glad I grabbed this when I did because It's a solid release, but it's kind of a shame the music was purposely excluding if you weren't lucky enough to get it. If it was some throw away tracks (Ala Muslimgauze or Sun City Girls) in a massive discography, I'd get that, but the amazing production and attention to detail kind of make the exclusive nature of this release unacceptable.
Beahelm
i don't get it at all, it's not bad but this 12" does not justify the hype.
Flower
This is just beautiful music. At least for me. Maybe I'm the only one in that thing called internet who likes that release? The title track is massive trip. Maybe I should listen to 'Tooth' again - a LP which I loved.
Ť.ħ.ê_Ĉ.õ.о.Ł
Love "Tooth" as well....although i admit it was disappointing after their pretty much perfect 1st album. I've grown to really like "Tooth" though as it has its own sound and feel and atmosphere.
Fiarynara
Forced exposure in the U.S. now has this up in their webstore for sale
Deeroman
Thanks for the tip, man. Just ordered mine for $18. No need to spend the $50+ the sharks are asking for.
Kale
Just as boring and unoriginal as "Tooth". Limited clear vinyl to boost sales, for fanboys to play in their plastic turntables. Please buy at 5x price & Enjoy!
Pameala
Fascinating! Tell me more! You seem to know a lot about this music stuff!
Frosha
Oh wow we have a sigmund freud hereAt least 10 words must be entered.
Swordsong
It is not a review. It is my opinion, if you disagree, I could not care less. And music was the thing I liked about Raime before.
Kiutondyl
he doesn't care about the music. he is an insecure little dud who needs to feel he accomplished something; so he looks to get a reaction.
Rollers from Abdun
Wow, what a great "review" you did on their last record: "Hate the cover. I think it's ugly. I would have liked if they had continued with the old style"Do you care about the music? It's pretty darn dark and droney druggy shit if you ask me.
Niwield
Think there might be some copies left at Rubadub !
Fast Lovebird
WTF. What is going on with you people. You don't like something- OK. You didn't get a copy so some of you are bitter & respond by slagging it off. You don't like Raime's music which is your prerogative . You don't like the idea of limited/ no represses- That's art for you! get used to it, however there is no need to be rude & disrespectful to others. This is meant to be a forum for serious reviews.
Gnng
it's a bit iffy this record though, ltd creates a hype more than what it really is. wouldn't buy it. didn't get their recent album at all, not boring just not clever.
Qudanilyr
Hauntology- My original comment was never directed at you. I totally agree that the forum is meant to be for serious reviews/ critique of the music which yours is (& to add to it, this release is not the best thing Raime have ever released!). However I was incensed by one or two comments (of a personal & inappropriate nature) which have since been deleted.
Nikojas
good for you for having an opinion *pats the little kid on the head* no follow your own advice, move on...and go away.
SupperDom
And all I'm saying is - perhaps you should care to learn the meaning of the word *vitriol*. I know what that means. Do you?I haven't spouted vitriol whatsoever on this thread, I've merely expressed my own opinion, as have you. Accept the fact that we have different opinions about Raime. It really is that simple. Move on.
Maldarbaq
Expressing ones opinion is one thing but personal insults and vitriol is another. That's all I was saying.
Orevise
Art or not, some of us don't particularly find Raime's music very original or inspiring and should we wish to comment about that on Discogs, we can. It's not called trolling, it's called expressing ones opinion. Get used to it.
lacki
thank you. it's disappointing to see so many trolls and so much negativity. Plenty of us love Raime. discogs is not supposed to be an inflammatory place to discuss records...
GEL
SOLD OUT. so excited to hear this! When i was buying it off the BEB bandcamp site....there were 224 left when i first got on the site...about 3 minutes later there were only 55 left. 3 more minutes and they were all gone. Went really fast. Blackest Ever Black have stated no digital and no represses on this one. So worth finding.
Skillet
This has just come onto Juno if people are interested
Мох
Sold out on Juno.

Don't believe the hype - not sold out at all - available at HJ now & coming soon at Juno. Me, I'll pass.
Blacknight
Honest Jon's, London shop. It sold out very quickly there also.
Saberdragon
it sold out in 17 minutes. definitely sold out.
Delagamand
HJ? What's that? These are extra words because you have enter 10 lol.
inetserfer
Oh it will become available and eventually through BEB themselves I'm sure. Honestly if I would have grabbed it great, actually SWEET, but otherwise I can hold out. I have other albums at a higher priority right now. I was seriously underwhelmed with the last LP so that most likely is the reason for my lack of enthusiasm. I do really dig the artwork though, way better then Tooth's.
Gajurus
Oh, the hype! I genuinely don't get what all the fuss is about with Raime, especially this release, apart from it being a limited pressing. Their predictable sonic offerings have been done-to-death a thousand times before; not least of all by original innovators from the late '70s / early '80s: artists like Cabaret Voltaire, Konstruktivist, Bushido, Hula, Princess Tinymeat et al. The main difference being, Raime's forefathers/mothers did it much so much better albeit with less veneer and inferior recording equipment - which (imo) isn't always a bad thing. Sadly, there's nothing new to hear here. Nothing at all.
Kesalard
i don't really agree with that. Raime play with space and timing more intricately than i've heard before. They capture an atmosphere. I've never heard anything in this type of music that really sounds like them. They are doing their own thing.
Vetitc
Yeah just release the digital tracks already, never understood the lets release our music to as few people as possible mentality.
Samugul
Reconsider repressing this record PLEASE as it is obviously in high demand.
Nalaylewe
got the mail from BEB for the release. soldout after 17mins. bad day.
