Special this exquisite album by The National sounds like it was tailor-made to fill that bill. In fact, these songs aren't just memorizable-they're unforgettable. First, a little note. After finding The National like many others with High Violet, I've bought everything since. If you're reading this I guess you may be filling in the back catalogue too.
